The Jeju 4.3 Art Festival media art exhibition ‘Guardian of Memory’ will be open to the public at the Culture and Arts Public Storage Center from the 1st.
While the Jeju Museum of Modern Art’s main exhibition exhibition ‘Guardian of Memory’ provides a glimpse into the history of the 4.3 art movement over the past 30 years, this media art exhibition of the same name combines the 4.3 music and the sounds of Jeju’s unique nature. It is characterized by a special sense of presence and grandeur that allows you to feel the weight of the history of the 4.3 Incident.
The video features Kang Dong-gyun, Kang Moon-seok, Kang Yo-bae, Kang Tae-bong, Go Kyeong-hwa, Go Gil-cheon, Go Seung-wook, Go Hyeok-jin, Kim Soo-beom, Kim Young-hwa, Kim Young-hoon, Park Gyeong-hoon, Park So-yeon, Park Young-gyun, Park Jin-hee, Seong-bong Seo, Song Maeng-seok, Yang Dong-gyu, Yang Mi-kyung, Yang Cheon-woo, Oh Seok-hoon, Oh Eun-hee and Oh Hyun- rim. It consists of about 50 works by 31 artists including Lee Kyung-jae, Lee Myung-bok, Lee Jong-hoo, Lee Jun-gyu, Jeong Yong-seong, Jo I-young, Choi Choi-hyung, and Hong Deok-pyo, and is composed of three works: ‘The Dream I Dreamed First’, ‘Sealed Island’, and ‘Spring Again’. It is developed into four subtopics.
